Large
corporations, national non-profit organizations and major corporations have the
fortune to afford agencies, skilled staff, advisors, the direction of an
experienced board of directors and access to a multitude of resources to
accomplish their business objectives.
However, the great majority of small businesses and community non-profit
organizations seem to lack those advantages and access to resources. They do have passion, desire, creativity and
are imbued with the entrepreneurial spirit.
In addition to being able to provide a viable product or service, they
must also be skilled in networking, business development, advertising,
marketing, HR issues, IT and people management, etc. to prosper and
survive.
We wish to share
business tips and advice with small business owners and local non-profit
organizations whose services are critical to the quality of life in our
communities. Our goal is to provide
business expertise, advice, counseling, resources and connections that will
help them grow and expand their organizations, reduce expenses, and level the
business playing field in their daily struggles to achieve success.
